Amitabh Bachchan calls IMF Chief Economist Gita Gopinath a ‘lovely face’, she responds
Indian-American economist and Chief Economist of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Gita Gopinath on Friday reacted to a complimentary submit by Amitabh Bachchan, saying he was the best of all time and that she was a big fan of the Bollywood celebrity. Big B had referred to as Gopinath a lovely face on his tv quiz present, Kaun Banega Crorepati.

Responding to her tweet, Big B wrote: “Thank you Gita Gopinath ji .. I meant every word i said about you on the show .. said in utmost earnestness.”

However, not all netizens had been overjoyed with Bachchan’s remark within the KBC clip. A bit of social media customers slammed the veteran actor for hinting at the concept that a lady with a lovely face couldn’t be an professional in financial system.
